The Housing Assistance Corporation of Cape Cod
Housing Assistance Corporation was founded in 1974. They currently operate four shelters across Cape Cod. The mission is “to deliver housing and services that meet the needs of our local community and limit our impact on natural resources; and to engage in responsible economic development that generates jobs, stabilizes housing and strengthens the community.” These shelters never go a night with an empty bed and help more than 375 people and 177 families every year. They also have managed and developed more than 550 affordable housing units. The foundation has helped 3,000 individuals last year by educating and giving resources to get a house.
